Bears Sign RB Chester Taylor
In order to help out new OC Mike Martz, the Chicago Bears went out and signed Vikings RB Chester Taylor to a $12.5 million, 4-year contract. According to Martz, Taylor and Matt Forte will split carries, which is horrible news for fantasy owners.
According to Martz, "We're fortunate to have two starters. As you look around the National Football League, the teams that are running the ball well, they all have two starters ... It's not a 1-2 punch as much as either one of those guys can carry the load. They will share duties."
Look for an increase in value from these guys in PPR leagues, however, as the Martz offense loves to use running backs as extra receivers.
